4 Days Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro & Tangire Camping

Drive to L. Manyara National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and abundant bird life, after being picked up in Arusha or Nairobi, for after-noon game viewing. Overnight at the Camp and dinner there.

After breakfast, carry your picnic lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro crater. Many first-time tourists refer to Ngorongoro Crater as one of the seven wonders of the world. Oldeani, Olmoti, and Empakaai are three additional tiny craters in the 5184 sq. km. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to a variety of animals. Originally a volcanic peak, it was transformed into a caldera by powerful winds and folding. Overnight at the Camp and dinner there.

Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast and arrive in Tarangire in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in Tarangire Park, one of Tanzania's most magnificent parks in terms of the quantity and variety of animals. Since Tarangire is constantly covered in forest, large herds of animals travel there in search of water and food from Ngorongoro, Manyara, and the nearby game reserves. Overnight at the Camp and dinner there.

Drive to Arusha through Mto wa Mbu village after breakfast to browse for sculptures from the Makonde tribe and other trinkets. Drive to Nairobi via the border town of Namanga after lunch, arriving in the early evening.
